Camp is 6 km away from Diocletian's palace and the same distance is to ancient remains of Salona. It is situated within beautiful green forest, sorrounded on two sides by sea and on the third by river mouth of Žrnovnica. Even on the hottest day there is a mild and refreshing breeze in the camp because of the camp's position on the penninsula and vicinity of the river with dense vegetation that creates rich shades.
