- Guided tours of the fantastic mountainscape (the highest mountains in Finnmark can be found in Nuvsvåg)
- Trout fishing in the picturesque Jomfrudalen (maiden valley).
- Exciting tours of the enchanting surroundings of Sørbotn and Fjorddalen, with the highest point of Øksefjordjøkelen (1204 m) as the destination.
Svartfjelljøkelen (1166 m) and „Loppatind“ (1175 m) are also easily reached from Nuvsvåg.
- There is a boat rental service that facilitates a fishing holiday with great opportunities for fishing on the Lopphavet.
